The state has scheduled its Indian education conference for 2025

Pierre, South Dakota — The 2025 South Dakota Indian Education Conference will be held in Aberdeen.

The annual conference will be held for the first time in the state’s northeast region on November 14 at the Ramkota Hotel and Convention Center.

The South Dakota Indian Education Council will meet there on November 13th in the evening.

During a teleconference with council members on Monday evening, Fred Osborn, director of the State Office of Indian Education, provided details.

He stated that conference registration will open in August, and K-12 schools across South Dakota have been notified.

“I have not determined a keynote,” Osborn stated.

The 2024 Summit was held in Pierre. Summits have been held annually since 2007.
