The people of Delphos enjoy music in the park

DELPHOS, Ohio – Everyone in Delphos brought their lawn chairs to the Hanser Family Pavilion as the Delphos Rotary Club’s annual Music in the Park series continued with its third performance of the year.

Nashville Crush, a homegrown band with roots in nearby Putnam County, entertained the crowd with classic country and rock songs as they tapped their feet and danced along. This year marks the 20th season of the concert series, and the Rotary Club has earned a reputation for entertaining the community members.

“The people who keep coming back simply enjoy visiting with their neighbors. Sometimes it doesn’t matter who we play. They just enjoy getting out. The Hanser pavilion and park do an excellent job of keeping things in order. We’re very proud of it. “And people come out to support us, which is fantastic,” said Andy North, president of the Delphos Rotary Club.

There are three more concerts left this season. The series will continue with Sounds of Summer, a Beach Boys tribute band, on July 27 at 6 p.m.
