A steel beam killed a guy in an industrial accident in Cridersville

MINSTER, Ohio – A Cridersville man was killed in a workplace accident on Monday morning.

According to Auglaize County Sheriff Mike Vorhees, 21-year-old Ayden Hadding was killed by a large bridge beam at Kard Welding, just outside of Minster. The accident happened at 6:57 a.m.

Detectives interviewed employees and reviewed video footage from inside the company to determine that the incident was an accident. Hadding had been attempting to connect a large beam to be moved when it shifted and fell on him.

Coworkers discovered Hadding shortly after the incident, but he had already died from his injuries.
