LIMA, Ohio – The 122nd Army Band brought some victory vibes to the Civic Centre as part of a concert tour commemorating the 250th anniversary of the United States Army.
The band is currently touring Ohio, performing energetic, family-friendly concerts at various venues. The band is made up of enlisted soldiers ranging from specialists to first sergeants, with the majority of members hailing from Ohio. With a mix of classic rock, pop hits, patriotic favourites, and inspiring original arrangements, everyone in the audience had something to enjoy.
“So far, we’ve really enjoyed playing for the people of Ohio and seeing the veterans who come out to support us. We enjoy entertaining people of all ages and playing in great venues.
Some have historical significance, while others are simply staples of the communities in which we play. So it’s really cool to travel all over Ohio,” said Chief Warrant Officer 2 Emily Bauer, Commander of the 122nd Army Band.
