In the vicinity of Five Span, Schooley's Diner opens

AUGLAIZE TOWNSHIP – Schooley’s Diner has recently opened near the Five Span neighborhood in Paulding County’s northeast corner. The new diner, located at 19492 State Route 637, is owned and operated by locals Sky Schooley and her father James Schooley.

Schooley, who graduated from Vantage Career Center’s Culinary Arts program, has always wanted to own and operate her own restaurant. “I’ve always enjoyed cooking. “When the former Cabbage Patch building became available, I knew I had to seize the opportunity,” Schooley explained.

Schooley has previously cooked in the area. She worked at the Defiance Moose Lodge, where she prepared homemade daily lunch specials and organized and maintained the kitchen.

Schooley’s Diner is open Sunday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. They are open Friday and Saturday from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. You can contact them by phone at 419-393-2200, email at [email protected], or through Facebook.
