Huron Tiger swimmers compete at Northwest Ohio district meet

Bowling Green, OH – At Friday’s Northwest Ohio district swim meet, the Huron Tigers boys team finished 13th with 71.5 points, and the Huron Tigers girls team finished 27th with 17 points.

Allison Dieter, Kennedy Masterson, Maggie Golling, and Emily Franks finished 15th, with a time of 2:04.42, in the girls 200 medley relay.

Granthem Brown, Andy Wostmann, Jared Lenczyk, and Andrew Hardy finished 19th, with a time of 1:40.73, in the boys 200 medley relay.

Weston Brown finished 15th, with a time of 1:54.18, in the boys 200 freestyle.

Allison Dieter finished 10th, with a time of 2:20.84, in the girls 200 IM. With this race, Dieter set a new school record for the girls 200 IM.

Maggie Golling finished 30th, with a time of 27.19, the girls 50 freestyle.

Joey Lenczyk finished 28th, with a time of 23.68, in the boys 50 freestyle.

Maggie Golling finished 30th, with a time of 59.99, in the girls 100 freestyle.

Granthem Brown finished 8th, with a time of 5:03.33; Colin Kay finished 24th, with a time of 5:32.51; and Andrew Hardy finished 26th, with a time of 5:33.65, in the boys 500 freestyle. With this race, Brown set a new school record for the boys 500 freestyle.

Allison Dieter, Emily Franks, Karlee Kurtz, and Maggie Golling finished 14th, with a time of 1:47.40, in the girls 200 freestyle relay.

Andy Wostmann, Weston Brown, Jared Lenczyk, and Joey Lenczyk qualified for the boys 200 freestyle relay. They finished 13th with a time of 1:37.37.

Allison Dieter finished 17th, with a time of 1:06.57, in the girls 100 back.

Granthem Brown finished 10th, with a time of 56.81; Andy Wostmann finished 19th, with a time of 59.54; and Weston Brown finished 24th with a time of 1:00.62 in the boys 100 back.

Kennedy Masterson finished 20th, with a time of 1:15.73, in the girls 100 breaststroke.

Jared Lenczyk, Joey Lenczyk, Granthem Brown, and Weston Brown finished 11th, with a time of 3:30.92, in the boys 400 freestyle relay.

Divers Max Wasiniak and Joey Lenczyk both qualified for state on Wednesday.
