Huron City Schools to Stay Hybrid

At the October 20, 2020 Huron City Schools Board Meeting, the Huron Board of Education did not vote on returning on returning to a five-day in-person learning schedule. They instead chose to remain on a hybrid schedule. On Monday Afternoon, Superintendent Dennis Muratori announced that he would recommend that Huron City Schools remain at a Hybrid schedule, instead of a five-day in-person model, as he previously recommended.

Muratori referenced information that there is a possibility that Erie County could return to Red Alert Level 3. He also referenced information that new Erie County COVID-19 cases are coming mainly from households. Unlike in August, where most cases were coming from long term care faculties.
