Victorville, California — A woman was discovered dead early Monday morning near a homeless encampment in Victorville.
On June 16, 2025, around 7:21 a.m., deputies responded to a call near Bear Valley Road and Third Avenue.
Gloria Orejel, a Sheriff’s spokeswoman, confirmed that a female subject was discovered not breathing and was pronounced dead at the scene.
A large dirt field between 2nd and 3rd Avenues contains several homeless encampments visible from the road.
The woman’s identity has not yet been revealed pending notification of next of kin. No additional information was made available.
