Fort Wayne, Indiana ― Most county and city government offices will be closed on Thursday in observance of Juneteenth.
Because of the closures, there will be no residential garbage or recycling pickup on Thursday. Instead, Thursday pickups will be collected on Friday, while Friday pickups will be pushed back to Saturday.
The majority of county offices will be closed on Thursday, with the exception of those that operate 24/7. This includes the sheriff’s office, Community Corrections, Allen County Juvenile Center, Youth Services Center, and Highway Department.
The regular business hours will resume on Friday.
