1,862 new cases of COVID-19 confirmed in Ohio

Columbus, OH – Since Friday in the State of Ohio, 1,862 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed. That brings the total number of confirmed cases to 809,589. 1,204 more people died from COVID-19. About 1,125 of those deaths were from November and December, but were not reported back then due to an error. 16,340 people have now died of COVID-19 in Ohio. 81 people were hospitalized. 40,812 people were vaccinated for the first time. 1,239,870 people in Ohio or 10.61% of Ohio’s population have now begun the vaccination process. 37,808 people also vaccinated for the second time. 46,291 people or 3.82% of Ohio’s population have now finished the vaccination process.
