46 new cases of COVID-19 confirmed and six new COVID-19 deaths in Erie County

Since Wednesday in Erie County, 46 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed. That brings the total number of confirmed cases to 4,114. Six more people died from COVID-19. 135 people have now died from COVID-19 in Erie County. One more person was hospitalized. 21 people are currently being hospitalized for COVID-19 at Firelands. 595 total people have been hospitalized. 501 people are also currently under quarantine or isolation.

Since Thursday in the State of Ohio, 3,194 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed. That brings the total number of confirmed cases to 749,592. 73 more people died from COVID-19. 10,409 people have now died of COVID-19 in Ohio. 404 people were hospitalized. 35,406 people were also vaccinated. 535,806 people in Ohio or 4.58% of Ohio’s population have now been vaccinated.
