Allen County — There is good news for those who enjoy camping but dislike the hassle of setting up and tearing down. This week, a local family started a small business to make camping easier for other families in northeast Indiana.
Custom Campsites is owned by Andrew and Jennifer Miller. It’s a complete setup and tear-down service that includes everything you need: a tent, sleeping bags, chairs, firewood, and more, depending on the package you choose.
The Miller family’s personal camping experiences inspired the concept for this small business. “We loved spending time with our family on camping trips. “We realized that the process presented its own set of challenges,” says Jennifer Miller. “We want others to be able to focus on what is truly important: cherished moments with family. That is why we created Custom Campsites.
Custom Campsites specializes solely in tent camping. Each site can accommodate four people. The process is straightforward: visit their website, select one of the three packages, submit a request, and prepare for the next adventure. Packages start at $199 for a two-night stay and include everything from a tent to lanterns, wood bundles, and camping essentials like flashlights.
The Glamping package includes a cooking set and game bundle. There are no food or personal items provided. Bookings must be made with campgrounds in northeast Indiana that have partnered with Custom Campsites.
