Convoy, Ohio – Jim Wharton is retiring after 42 seasons and 631 wins as head coach of Crestview High School’s baseball program.
Wharton led the program from 1984 to 2025, winning 26 sectional titles and 20 conference championships.
He led his team to three state Final Four appearances and finished with an overall record of 631-323.
Wharton was inducted into the Ohio High School Baseball Coaches Association Hall of Fame in 2015.
