The University of Northwestern Ohio recognizes its 2025 graduating class

LIMA, Ohio – This weekend, the University of Northwestern Ohio graduated another class, celebrating the accomplishments of 757 students who earned one or more degrees during two commencement ceremonies.

The graduates are from 38 states and 18 different countries. They will leave with lasting memories of the countless hours of hard work that enabled them to walk across the stage.

“My racing experience means everything to me. I mean, this school has raised me. I mean, I’m a small-town kid from Canada who has come over here with amazing opportunities at UNOH, and I’m really excited to carry this on in the United States, get a real-world job, and continue learning. Because you never stop learning about the real world. So there are always more opportunities to take advantage of, and that is my goal,” said Randy Giroux, who has an associate’s degree in robotics and automation.

“Today means a lot. It’s just a recap, a one-day celebration of four years of hard work, excitement, tears, good times, and bad times, and it’s a fantastic day to reflect on all of our accomplishments,” said Corrin Howard, who has a bachelor’s degree in sports marketing and management.

It was also a proud moment for the university, as faculty and staff witnessed another class finish its academic journey.

“I believe it is the most special day of the year because it marks the final day for our graduates as they enter the workforce. The majority of them have jobs already lined up. So it’s the culmination of their accomplishments and celebration today,” said Dr. Jeff Jarvis, president of the University of Northwestern Ohio.

Congratulations to the UNOH graduating class of 2025.
