Former IAC Plant Sold

The former IAC Plant, located at 1608 Sawmill Parkway, has been sold to Ardagh Metal Beverage USA Inc for $13.5M.

The plant was built back in 1989 by O’Sullivan Corporation. The plant went though several owners from 1994 to 2007. IAC purchased the plant in April 2007 for $4,255,625. In August 2020, IAC closed the plant, leaving many workers unemployed.

Ardagh Metal Beverage USA is owned by Ireland based Ardagh Group. On their website they call themselves “a global leader in packaging solutions.” The closest Ardagh Metal Beverage USA plant to Huron is located in Fremont.
